Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations, workflows, and employee duties
• Hire, train, mentor, and coach team members to ensure professional development
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain a "Safety First" culture
• Prepare work schedules and manage employee attendance, breaks, and lunch schedules
• Improve operational efficiency, standardize processes, and optimize staffing needs
• Control labor overtime and report daily production output and operational issues
• Ensure plant cleanliness and organization following 5S standards
• Collaborate with plant leadership to meet production goals and customer expectations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience leading large teams
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics industries
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Proficiency with ERP or Sage systems
• Forklift certification or related experience
• Knowledge of raw materials planning and production scheduling
