Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, tactical leadership to a team of Process Technicians in the commissioning and startup of a new ion exchange bead manufacturing unit
• Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to technicians
• Monitor team capabilities, work processes, and equipment performance for continuous improvement
• Coordinate with planners to execute daily production plans and communicate shift priorities
• Oversee the Safe Work Permitting process
• Develop standard operating procedures and workflows
• Train technicians on process, equipment operation, and safe work practices
• Participate in structured process improvement and risk management processes like RCAs, MOCs, and PHAs

Requirements

• A.A.S. in Process Technology or similar technical field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years in chemical, petroleum, or materials manufacturing
• Minimum 6 months of leadership experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and wear a respirator during operations
• Ability to lead a team on rotating shifts
• Capability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights
