Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations to ensure products are built safely, on time, and to quality specifications.
• Maintain compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and other relevant medical device regulations.
• Lead and motivate manufacturing associates, conducting training to ensure compliance with SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Execute production plans and adjust staffing or resources to meet daily output requirements.
• Partner with planning and supply chain to optimize material availability and inventory levels.
• Support nonconformance investigations, CAPAs, and quality audits.
• Promote a safe work environment and participate in continuous improvement initiatives like Lean and 5S.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in a medical device or regulated industry.
• Working knowledge of medical device quality systems (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820) and GMP.
• Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems (e.g., QAD, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
