Production Supervisor - Industrialization

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a sub-team of Manufacturing Engineers, Industrial Engineers, and Technologists.
• Oversee new product integration (NPI), design for manufacturing, and methodization for space hardware.
• Manage resource allocation, staffing levels, and succession planning to meet program demands.
• Conduct performance appraisals, coaching, and professional development for direct reports.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, collective agreements, and quality standards.
• Improve work methods and processes related to industrialization and promote a Design for Excellence culture.
• Support internal and external audits and implement necessary corrective actions.

Requirements

• College diploma in engineering technology or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrialization environment.
• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical technologies used in space hardware production.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production techniques.
• Proficiency with ERP logic and Microsoft software.
• Experience working within a unionized environment.
• Bilingualism in French and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to obtain and hold Secret Level II security clearance and pass Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

• University degree in Operations/Production Management, Engineering, or Administration.
• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role.
