Production Supervisor III

Responsibilities

• Lead production teams to deliver business results, ensuring safety, quality, and production volumes are met.
• Manage personnel scheduling, coaching, training, and disciplinary actions for production staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with internal and external requirements, including FDA and TUV.
• Develop and execute plans to achieve productivity indicators, schedule adherence, and cost goals.
• Analyze production line leading indicators and daily metrics to ensure efficient shift transitions and process compliance.
• Lead investigations and implement solutions for reported quality issues.
• Maintain ownership of production areas, including gowning and clean corridors.

Requirements

• B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Administration, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in manufacturing systems such as SAP, Kronos, or SFA.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISO and quality systems (e.g., FDA, MDD).
• Strong computer skills and the ability to lead/influence peers toward organizational goals.
• Ability to work different shifts, including night shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or electronic industries.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Lean Coach.
• Knowledge of Costa Rica labor laws applicable to direct labor operators.
