Production Supervisor II

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and direct team workflow, including work distribution, information dissemination, and problem resolution.
• Control production costs within budget levels by minimizing scrap and rework.
• Anticipate and react to production delays, material shortages, and equipment malfunctions.
• Provide technical assistance for equipment repairs and work with engineering to improve cost reduction and labor planning.
• Supervise, evaluate, and train the work group while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to safety policies.
• Maintain accurate production and employee records and ensure consistent application of company policies.
• Apply LEAN tools (such as VSM, 5S, and Kaizen) to improve department Key Business Drivers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of manufacturing experience OR Associate degree and 6+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work weekend overtime as needed to support production.
