Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise production operations to ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and regulatory standards
• Monitor daily production flow, shipping efficiency, and on-time order completion
• Execute batch production activities and ensure strict adherence to specifications
• Partner with the Quality team to ensure products meet standards and lead deviation investigations with CAPA alignment
• Maintain accurate production documentation in line with company retention policies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (6S) and operational excellence on the shop floor
• Ensure equipment uptime by coordinating maintenance, calibration, and repairs
• Lead daily shift reporting and shop floor tier meetings using the IFF Operating System

Requirements

• Experience in food or chemical manufacturing
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and OSHA requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP or similar systems
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of production equipment
• Experience using lab equipment including pH meters and densitometers
• Physical capability to meet job demands including lifting, pushing, and pulling materials

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in food or chemical manufacturing
• Proven experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Demonstrated success in team development, coaching, and performance management
