Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily production schedules to ensure efficient use of labor and resources
• Lead, coach, and develop employees while managing staffing, attendance, and performance
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards and product specifications are met
• Maintain proper raw material levels and accurate production reporting
• Identify and address safety concerns ensuring compliance with OSHA, HACCP, USDA, and plant standards
• Train team members and support ongoing skill development and cross-training
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve workflows
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance
• Oversee plant sanitation activities and supervise post-sanitation startup

Requirements

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
• Food production experience strongly preferred
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklift or pallet jack
• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work 2nd shift (5:00pm - 5:00am)
• Ability to work in cold, wet, humid, and noisy environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese
