Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead production employees and organize workflow by assigning responsibilities
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve departmental policies and goals
• Develop and coach employees, including performance appraisal and training
• Monitor production output and ensure compliance with specifications
• Ensure employees follow all safety and operating procedures
• Maintain compliance with all State laws and regulations
• Help establish and maintain proper inventory and monitor departmental budgeting
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) when production criteria are not met

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a production environment
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity
• High school diploma or GED required; BSc/BA preferred
• Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies like Kaizen or Gemba Walks
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass background checks and be approved for state badging
