Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise a 40+ personnel operation in a union environment during the 3rd shift
• Manage labor by assigning daily tasks, directing labor based on needs, and managing overtime
• Oversee rate management to ensure all cells are achieving hourly production rates
• Drive scrap reduction by identifying issues, minimizing financial impact, and making decisions on part quality
• Conduct daily process audits to establish and document process compliance
• Enforce health and safety standards to ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Facilitate regular communication through pre-shift meetings and corrective actions

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar supervisory role
• Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Basic math skills for interpreting data, ratios, and percentages
• Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to pivoting priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a business or technical area
• Previous experience in injection molding or the automotive industry
• Experience leading second or third shift operations in a union environment
