Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead employees and execute daily production plans for the 2nd shift.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of team members through daily discussions and incident investigations.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and proactive process improvement programs.
• Manage departmental staffing, track attendance, and record timesheets for payroll.
• Meet and exceed production schedules, budgets, and delivery targets.
• Handle conflict, complaints, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
• Participate in safety audits and implement corrective actions to eliminate unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive supervisory or managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing concepts, methods, and techniques.
• Experience utilizing a Lean Production System for daily management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and think conceptually regarding continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP or other related ERP systems.
• Basic understanding of production planning and production control functions.
