Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers on the assigned shift or production line
• Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet daily targets
• Ensure adherence to company safety standards and OSHA regulations
• Conduct start-of-shift meetings and provide work instructions to the team
• Maintain accurate production and quality records and report key metrics
• Train new employees and evaluate the performance of production staff
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance or engineering teams
• Promote a clean, organized, and efficient work environment using 5S principles
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean and Kaizen

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
• At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience in a production setting
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and use basic measurement tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting software (ERP, MES)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Chinese
