Production Supervisor, General Assembly

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production staff to ensure targets and deadlines are met
• Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations for team members
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
• Monitor and inspect parts and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics for timely material delivery
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity
• Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment and tools
• Document production issues and communicate with the following shift

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical or automotive assembly preferred
• Minimum 5 years of production or manufacturing experience
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Experience in the automotive industry preferred
• Proficiency in reading technical specifications
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Physical stamina to lift heavy components and stand for extended periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
