Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24/7 production support to meet customer requirements regarding quality, timeliness, and cost
• Build and maintain a strong safety culture within the department and plant site
• Manage performance through coaching, feedback, and the administration of performance management processes
• Establish clear expectations for direct reports and ensure they are adequately trained
• Build a cohesive, flexible, and cooperative team
• Drive and empower decision-making at the lowest possible level in the organization
• Communicate direction, objectives, and results effectively to the department and site leadership
• Assign resources and manage coverage for illnesses, vacations, and medical leaves

Requirements

• High school diploma and a two-year technical degree, or five years of leadership experience
• Previous supervisory experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and DeltaV (or similar automation systems)
• Knowledge of or experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Ability to work in a heavily regulated environment
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Proven leadership skills with an emphasis on coaching and mentoring
• Ability to manage a flexible work schedule to meet business needs
• Physical ability to travel by foot between buildings, wear required PPE, and work in high-noise environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 15 years of business or industrial experience
