Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of daily night shift operations, including staffing, quality control, and schedule adherence
• Coach, mentor, and motivate the team to hit targets in safety, quality, service, cost, and production
• Hold the team accountable for following established procedures and conduct standards
• Manage employee training, qualification, proficiency, and overall performance management
• Drive process improvements and identify opportunities to increase site efficiency
• Balance quality, safety, morale, productivity, and cost to achieve positive results

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of production experience in manufacturing roles with direct reports and shop floor accountability
• Proven experience with scrap management, safety behaviors, and quality controls
• Experience with workforce scheduling, overtime management, and labor deployment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for daily and monthly reporting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work a 2-2-3 rotating night shift schedule (7:45 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher
• Hands-on experience in a lean manufacturing environment (5S, Six Sigma, Gemba walks)
• Experience with ERP or SAP systems
