About the role

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations including staffing, quality control, safety requirements, and schedule adherence.
  • Lead by example to achieve targets in safety, quality, service, cost, and production.
  • Mentor Lead Operators and manage employee relations through professional engagement and visibility on the floor.
  • Conduct administrative activities such as pre/post-shift reporting, audits, time and attendance, and performance management.
  • Drive process improvements using Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Manage KPIs including productivity, scrap percentage, labor utilization, OEE, and safety metrics (TRIR/OSHA).
  • Ensure effective training, qualification, and proficiency of all team members.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisor or management position, preferably in a 24/7 manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Proven experience participating in Lean production or Kaizen events.
  • Strong safety mentality with foundational knowledge of OSHA standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, Teams) and experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment involving heat, noise, and standing/walking for extended periods.
