Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production and warehouse activities to achieve safety, quality, and on-time delivery targets
• Assign work, prioritize activities, and adjust staffing to meet production schedules and customer needs
• Coach and develop hourly employees through clear expectations, feedback, and performance management
• Enforce safe work practices and ensure compliance with quality standards and corporate policies
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and Gemba walks
• Monitor performance through KPIs and maintain accurate production and inventory records
• Address quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions

Requirements

• Associate's degree with 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (equivalent experience considered)
• 3+ years of experience in an organization utilizing Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of safety standards, quality expectations, and basic inventory practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in manufacturing
• Previous experience in the rail industry or a similar regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience with CNC machining and programming
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings and prints
