Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the workshop manufacturing team and their day-to-day workload
• Assist with production planning, progress tracking, and reporting against workshop schedules
• Support the implementation and maintenance of production processes, procedures, and quality standards
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure health & safety procedures are followed
• Support material control and inventory processes, including tracking stock
• Assist with quality checks during different stages of production to identify defects or improvements

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Previous experience in a supervisory or senior operative role
• Strong team leadership and motivation skills
• Understanding of production processes and quality standards
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Awareness of health & safety practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, control, and instrumentation manufacturing
• Exposure to inventory or workshop management systems
• Experience in regulated industries such as defence, nuclear, or energy
• Formal qualification in engineering or a related technical discipline
