Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Execute the operating plan to achieve team objectives regarding cost, quality, health, and safety
• Provide immediate supervision to subordinates to execute assignments using established guidelines and policies
• Review team performance with members at regular intervals and provide coaching as needed
• Build effective relations with plant support groups
• Ensure the team executes documented operating procedures and follows document control protocols
• Implement and monitor training and certification plans
• Hold reports accountable for adherence to established procedures and process control setpoints

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas) and Microsoft Word

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a technical field
• 1-3 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2-3 years of previous supervisory experience
• Certified Green Belt
• 2-3 years of experience with industrial labor relations (union or union-free)
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the plant organization
