Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the manufacture of building products to meet production demands while ensuring quality, safety, and environmental responsibility
• Hire, supervise, evaluate, and train manufacturing team members
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including 5S and lean manufacturing
• Provide technical leadership in areas such as line setup, troubleshooting, and machine metrics
• Manage staffing guidelines to maximize human resource utilization and control labor costs
• Oversee paperwork relative to line operation, operator logs, and corrective actions
• Administer company policies in a fair and consistent manner

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and train employees
• Proficiency in 5S and STOP principles
• Upper level mathematical and mechanical skills
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
