About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of production associates to foster high performance
- Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to solve problems effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Monitor and optimize production schedules to meet quality and delivery targets
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology
- Coach team members through regular performance feedback and training
- Analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Drive process improvements and ensure product quality through standardized work
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of progressive supervisory experience in manufacturing
- Expertise in lean manufacturing and 5S methodology
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual ability (Spanish)
- Experience in glass manufacturing
