Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the manufacture of building products to meet production demands while ensuring quality, safety, and environmental responsibility
• Supervise, direct, advise, and train manufacturing team members in accordance with established policies
• Develop and implement staffing guidelines to maximize human resource utilization and control manpower costs
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including 5S and conversion cost reduction
• Provide technical leadership in areas such as line setup, troubleshooting, and machine metrics
• Manage shift personnel, including line rotations, break schedules, and seamless shift changes
• Administer company policies fairly and provide coaching, counseling, and corrective action to associates
• Use statistics or SPC to assist with continuous process improvement and control extrusion or assembly processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of three years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Proficiency in 5S principles and Lean manufacturing (Six Sigma certification is a plus)
• Strong mathematical and mechanical skills
• Proficiency using calipers and other measuring devices
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with extrusion operations
• Knowledge of PVC resin/compound blending
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills
