Production Supervisor - Chassis

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a dedicated hourly team to meet or exceed production targets and quality standards
• Act as a champion of workplace safety by proactively enforcing regulations and fostering a culture of vigilance
• Drive operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies and implementing continuous improvement solutions
• Utilize data and insights to reduce downtime and quality defects
• Manage team performance, including tracking employee time, attendance, and accountability
• Resolve conflicts fairly and effectively, maintaining strong relationships with team members, suppliers, and union representatives
• Prioritize critical tasks and allocate human resources to maximize manufacturing efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3–7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, or military experience
• Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodology
• Experience with the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP)
