Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate plant production operations to ensure compliance with production plans.
• Guarantee adherence to quality and productivity standards within the plastics area.
• Manage workloads and define priorities for molding, injection, and extrusion processes.
• Resolve operational issues and respond to unexpected equipment failures.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop personnel by fostering teamwork and providing necessary training.
• Control operating costs and ensure data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in plant operations (not an entry-level role).
• Deep knowledge of the plastics industry, including molding, injection, and extrusion.
• Experience managing assembly and packaging lines.
• Proficiency in quality management tools such as Ishikawa and the PDCA cycle.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JDE (JD Edwards).
• Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
