Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the production process and the achievement of KPIs
• Ensure material and tooling supply, job distribution, and task arrangement within the shift
• Coordinate the first production run of any new design introduced to the plant
• Develop a working understanding of production equipment to detect and resolve potential problems
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for internal and external non-conformances to prevent recurrence
• Ensure daily preventive maintenance and readiness for product modifications
• Control the availability and correct use of protective equipment by personnel
• Delegate responsibilities to production employees and hold them accountable
• Conduct performance reviews and oversee operator professional development and training

Requirements

• Previous experience in a people-leading role within high-speed manufacturing
• Ability to create, develop, and maintain a strong teamwork environment
• Skills in motivating teams, coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction across all organizational levels
• Working knowledge of the mechanics and functional behavior of production equipment
• Good understanding of modern lean manufacturing techniques
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety work practices
