Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise satellite mechanical and electrical assembly operations ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and quality standards
• Oversee and coordinate personnel to ensure products are built on time and within cost targets
• Maintain 6S standards and overall operational effectiveness in assigned production areas
• Support employee training, process auditing, and skills development
• Motivate, coach, and engage employees to drive performance and accountability
• Partner with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production bottlenecks
• Guide the team in achieving safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency metrics

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• 5+ years of experience supervising production teams of at least 10 direct employees
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work Shift 2 (5:30 pm to 4 am, Monday through Thursday)
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field
• Experience supervising aerospace, electronics, or precision manufacturing operations
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
• Understanding of satellite, avionics, or mechanical/electrical assembly processes
• Familiarity with MES or ERP platforms
