Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of a production shift, providing direct supervision to Operators, Lead Operators, and Trainers
• Implement and manage daily improvements to meet business Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost goals
• Determine priorities and assign responsibilities to meet customer needs safely
• Create an atmosphere of fairness, employee engagement, and accountability
• Develop crew personnel to prepare them for future career opportunities or additional responsibilities
• Maintain flexibility to work on any shift as business needs require

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
• Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role within a union environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Experience in chemical operations, extrusion, coating, or converting
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a union environment
• Experience using Lean Manufacturing tools
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations
