Production Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Oversee production operations to ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and internal work policies
• Manage personnel, including training, skills matrix management, and resolving irregularities with unionized workers
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, efficiency, downtime, and tool changeover
• Verify compliance with production schedules, model changeovers, and ERP reporting
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Shipping departments to ensure equipment uptime and on-time delivery
• Implement and follow up on corrective actions using PDCA and 8D problem-solving methodologies
• Supervise scrap control, production scanning, and IBI reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically with metal stamping processes (progressive, manual, and mechanical presses)
• Advanced English fluency (C1 level) capable of conducting business conversations
• Deep knowledge of welding assembly processes
• Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, GD&T, SPC, and quality systems
• Strong understanding of metal-mechanical manufacturing processes and materials technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced training in Safety Rules and PPE
• Advanced leadership and supervisory experience
• Expertise in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and QDC performance
• Experience managing large-scale presses ranging from 75 to 2300 tons
