Production Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing activities and process changeovers to ensure conformance with production schedules
• Coordinate changeover activities and meet manufacturing goals
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce errors, increase efficiency, and lower operational costs
• Support departmental ESHS activities to eliminate injuries and process safety hazards
• Support operator development and mentor team members
• Ensure adherence to fundamental cGMP requirements

Requirements

• 8-10 years of manufacturing or manufacturing technical support experience
• Demonstrated ability to provide tactical leadership to achieve common objectives
• Strong knowledge of Small Molecule Manufacturing business processes
• Ability to analyze data, develop countermeasures, and implement action plans to improve processes
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Flexibility in hours to support a 24/7/365 manufacturing environment
• A BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience, including coaching employees to improve performance
