Responsibilities
- Provide expert feedback during design and equipment selection to ensure long-term operability
- Participate in HAZOPs, PHAs, and safety reviews for capital projects
- Lead the creation of technical documentation, commissioning procedures, SOPs, and training materials
- Lead operators during plant startup and commissioning phases
- Coordinate and plan plant outages for project tie-ins and equipment installations
- Support operations of R&D tools and production tool startups
- Provide work direction and daily oversight of project operators
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Experience in project design and commissioning
- Advanced knowledge of PFDs and P&IDs
- Working knowledge of large scale project management
- Familiarity with SDS for hazardous materials handling
- Expert understanding of Lock/Tag Out requirements
- Proficiency in monitoring and operating process equipment using SOPs
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Ability to operate and understand SCADA systems
- Working knowledge of OPC
