Production Shiftleader

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory standards in accordance with company policy.
• Lead safety initiatives, conduct incident investigations, and manage work permits.
• Achieve production targets within required timelines and quality standards.
• Monitor and adjust batch processes via DCS and ensure accurate SAP entries.
• Resolve process disruptions and maintain complete, accurate production documentation.
• Maximize equipment reliability by coordinating with the Maintenance department for preventive and corrective work.
• Manage inventories, consumables, and bulk tanks, including supporting counts and investigating discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Quality Control for batch releases and corrections.
• Coach, train, and direct the shift team, monitoring performance and attendance.
• Facilitate clear communication during shift handovers and collaborate with Supply Chain, R&D, and Engineering.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the Chemical or Petrochemical sector.
• Proven experience in production leadership roles.
• Thorough knowledge of DCS-controlled processes.
• Valid Forklift certificate.
• Valid BHV/Firefighting certificate.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
• Experience with SAP for material management.
• Proficiency in reading P&IDs, process diagrams, and production flows.
• Understanding of unit operations, instrumentation, and basic maintenance tasks.
