Production Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach production process leads and team members in a high-speed food manufacturing and packaging environment
• Conduct safety audits and visual checks to meet plant safety goals
• Maximize manufacturing output and minimize waste/downtime
• Support GMP, HACCP, FDA, and FSSC internal audits
• Utilize SAP for inventory control, FIFO, and traceability
• Develop team member training and documentation
• Consult with engineering and maintenance regarding equipment modifications
• Plan and direct production activities and priorities
• Utilize RedZone productivity system
• Review production, quality, and operational reports to resolve nonconformity
• Monitor team member time, PTO, and scheduling

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience leading teams in high-volume manufacturing or packaging
• Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform frequent standing/walking
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in fast-paced environments
• Proven track record of managing growth and staffing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP and RedZone productivity systems
• Background in food manufacturing safety standards (HACCP, FDA, FSSC)
