Production Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage 12-hour shift production activities to meet safety, quality, and cost objectives
• Prioritize and adjust production schedules based on equipment efficiency, staffing, and business needs
• Provide direct supervision to production employees, including task assignment, coaching, and performance monitoring
• Partner with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve downtime and quality issues
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction and efficiency
• Maintain and enforce all safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and safe work practices
• Support and comply with ISO 9000 and AS9100 quality standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing operations (high-volume or advanced materials preferred)
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing production teams
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret metrics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and ERP platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising manual assembly or machining operations
• Continuous Improvement or Performance Excellence experience (Lean, Six Sigma, or Green Belt certification)
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP systems
