Production Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the production shift team
• Plan and manage personnel deployment based on qualification, workload, and economic efficiency
• Ensure smooth, on-time production processes in accordance with planning
• Monitor quality, productivity, and delivery reliability, initiating corrective actions when necessary
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, quality standards, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations
• Support the onboarding and qualification of employees while acting as a role model
• Document, escalate, and hand over relevant shift-related information
• Participate in continuous improvement processes (KVP) and support production management

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in the metal or industrial sector
• Master's degree (e.g., Industriemeister Metall) or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in a production environment
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
• Strong leadership skills, assertiveness, and a high sense of responsibility
• Structured, independent, and economically oriented way of working
