About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to support daily production requirements and operational stability
  • Drive a strong safety culture through floor presence, hazard identification, and adherence to safety processes
  • Coach and lead team members and group leaders to improve engagement, accountability, and performance
  • Respond to production, quality, and people issues in real time
  • Support quality execution through audits, defect reviews, and corrective action follow-up
  • Monitor key performance indicators and take action to address gaps in safety, quality, and cost
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, quality, maintenance, and HR to resolve issues
  • Manage staffing, attendance, overtime, and team communication processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience
  • Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-accountability production setting
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
  • Proven problem-solving ability with a focus on root cause identification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard manufacturing business systems
  • Ability to work off-shift, weekends, and overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive manufacturing
  • Experience with standardized work, layered audits, and continuous improvement systems
  • Experience leading quality containment and defect reduction processes
  • Familiarity with labor relations practices and workforce planning
  • Demonstrated success in developing people and leading through change
