Production Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment through vigilant enforcement of all applicable laws, regulations, and EHSQ policies
• Provide leadership and guidance to Chemical Operators in the operation of manufacturing process equipment
• Oversee shift productivity to ensure production targets are met
• Communicate critical information to the Production Manager and Engineers
• Organize shift schedules and monitor team coverage

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED plus 5+ years of plant operations experience OR an Engineering degree (mechanical, chemical, or industrial) plus 3 years of experience
• Minimum of 3 years of strong leadership experience
• Technical process knowledge, including the ability to read P&ID and perform DCS operation
• Proficiency with workplace technology including Microsoft Office, SAP, and DCS/HMI software
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Expertise in safety regulations and permitting
