Production Services Technician

Responsibilities

• Optimize critical tools and pipelines for render farm management, media manipulation, and deliveries
• Oversee production-related data, including backups, retrievals, and archiving
• Monitor and prioritize rendering queues and troubleshoot resource issues
• Automate media handling processes to reduce bottlenecks for artists and vendors
• Ingest and deliver high-priority media following security and firewall policies
• Act as a technical liaison between production, artists, and support teams
• Document workflows, tools, and processes across I/O pipelines and automation scripts
• Provide flexible coverage support including early, late, or weekend shifts during critical phases

Requirements

• Strong experience with Linux or UNIX operating systems
• High proficiency in Bash, Python, and GIT
• Ability to triage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Customer service experience for managing client interactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous leadership or managerial experience
• Familiarity with graphics applications, production tools, or network infrastructure
