About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned to demand
- Optimize workflow across production areas to maximize efficiency and output
- Adjust schedules in real time based on performance, material availability, and priorities
- Monitor key metrics including output, open orders, on-time delivery, and lead times
- Prioritize and resolve past-due and high-priority work orders
- Align schedules with material availability and capacity constraints
- Partner with supply chain, warehouse, and quality teams to prevent disruptions
- Communicate schedules, risks, and priorities across production and leadership teams
- Identify and implement improvements in scheduling, workflow, and material flow
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of production scheduling and manufacturing operations
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with ERP and scheduling systems (e.g., Preactor, JDE)
- High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail
