Production Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
• Monitor production performance and resolve scheduling challenges
• Coordinate production priorities across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service
• Analyze capacity and identify potential bottlenecks
• Oversee WIP and finished goods inventory levels
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions within ERP systems
• Supervise Product Handler(s), assigning daily priorities and providing coaching
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling and inventory management
• Generate and analyze reports on production performance and service metrics

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in production scheduling, planning, inventory control, or operations
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., JDE)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience with inventory optimization and continuous improvement
• Knowledge of production reporting and performance metrics
