About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed daily and weekly short-term production schedules for all manufacturing lines.
  • Sequence production orders by considering line capacity, changeover strategies, material availability, and operational priorities.
  • Adjust schedules in real-time to respond to downtime, material shortages, or quality issues.
  • Maximize line utilization and minimize inefficiencies such as changeover losses and idle time.
  • Collaborate with Material Planning, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure operational alignment.
  • Identify and escalate risks to schedule execution, proposing mitigation scenarios to protect service levels.
  • Maintain accurate data within ERP systems (SAP) and planning tools, ensuring integrity for cycle times and routing constraints.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators including schedule adherence, line utilization, and OTIF.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, with SAP preference.
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling, sequencing, and capacity planning.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-line or complex manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) systems.
