About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the production schedule to ensure efficient manufacturing operations
  • Communicate schedules and priority updates to off-shift supervisors
  • Coordinate die trials with the improvement team and tool room
  • Monitor supplier on-time delivery performance in coordination with the shipping department
  • Liaise between production and shipping to ensure on-time customer delivery
  • Input data into Press Hits, Pressroom OEE, and Pressroom Attainment charts
  • Schedule bank builds to accommodate die or press maintenance needs
  • Review hot-sheets to update schedules, add jobs, or adjust counts based on production requirements

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with inventory management systems (CMS)
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
  • Understanding of Just-in-Time (JIT) customer demand and customer-specific requirements
  • Strong time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English with the ability to write reports and business correspondence
