Production Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Plan production schedules in a box plant facility to optimize customer service and facility productivity
• Schedule shipment dates, quantities, grade, finish, and trim
• Communicate production planning status daily to order services, sales, and facility production personnel
• Identify potential scheduling problems and recommend effective solutions
• Coordinate machine operations and production activity with sales and shipping departments
• Utilize KIWI computer systems to schedule corrugator and finishing jobs based on priorities and specifications
• Reschedule workflow in response to machine breakdowns, productivity slowdowns, or material shortages
• Manage roll stock forecasts and interface with vendors to ensure alignment with sales forecasts

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of manufacturing or production planning experience
• Experience within the corrugated industry
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities
• Willingness to work an alternative 3/2 schedule (working 3 days one week and 4 days the next)
