Production Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Create weekly and daily production schedules using Master Production Schedule (MPS) outputs to maximize productivity and minimize inventory investment
• Ensure on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and schedule attainment meet plant performance targets
• Collaborate with Master Scheduling, Materials, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to align capacity and requirements
• Maintain replenishment signals and production-related settings within the ERP system
• Provide daily production support, including expediting materials, setting priorities, and resolving supply issues
• Coordinate the scheduling and movement of outside processing inventory

Requirements

• Two-year degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field; or 1–3 years of materials management experience in manufacturing
• Advanced knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and email
• Strong mechanical and analytical ability

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
• Experience in inventory forecasting, production scheduling, and capacity planning
• Experience specifically with production scheduling modules within an ERP
