Production Sanitation Associate

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize FreshPoint Produce Value Added Room(s) and equipment using the 7-Steps of sanitation
• Sanitize floors, walls, machinery, support equipment, and conveyors
• Adhere to all Food, Sanitation, and Safety policies, including SQF standards for produce handling
• Maintain facility cleanliness by managing trash and debris throughout the property
• Observe and enforce all safety rules to reduce accidents and injuries
• Comply with all applicable State and Federal laws, including OSHA, HACCP, and SQF
• Work effectively with supervisors to ensure proper cleaning practices and report unsafe issues immediately

Requirements

• One year of on-the-job production sanitation experience required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in material handling equipment or the ability to become certified
