Production Roaster

Responsibilities

• Roast coffee following specific profiles and blend recipes using Cropster software
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production roasters
• Conduct quality control checks on roasted coffee and notify management of discrepancies
• Manage green and roasted coffee inventory counts and organization
• Blend large quantities of coffee as required by the Production Manager
• Maintain a tidy and organized roasting floor and work area

Requirements

• Understanding of the coffee roasting process and roast defects
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs and move 150lbs with proper support
• Proficiency with information systems such as Cropster and inventory tools
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Forklift certification or ability to be trained
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with coffee roasting or production in a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance protocols
