Production Quality Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and schedule quality inspectors across all production shifts
• Monitor and enforce control plan implementation on the production line
• Collect and review quality data including defect rates and process capability indices (CPK, PPK, CMK)
• Lead root cause analysis and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Manage non-conforming product areas and maintain required documentation
• Oversee rework and repair processes, including testing verification
• Conduct regular process inspections and layered process audits
• Develop and maintain standard inspection guidelines and work instructions
• Provide on-the-floor coaching to production operators to reinforce quality standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
• 8+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of quality experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949
• Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D, 5Why, and Fishbone
• Familiarity with Kaizen, CAPA, and DOE tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the battery or automotive manufacturing industry
• Experience with quality management software
