Production Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze production and quality data including defect rates and process capability indices (CPK, PPK, CMK)
• Identify trends and propose preventive measures to reduce risks
• Organize root cause analysis and verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures
• Manage non-conforming product areas and lead the determination process
• Manage rework and repair areas and establish operational instructions
• Confirm implementation of control plans on the production line
• Guide and train operators on quality processes and standards
• Regularly inspect production processes to identify potential risks
• Manage inspectors and conduct hierarchical audits
• Develop standard inspection guidelines and maintain quality records
• Track industry best practices to promote factory quality systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing
• Experience in battery or automotive battery industry preferred
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
• Familiarity with Kaizen and CAPA
• Familiarity with DOE solving tools
• Mastery of quality tools including SPC, FMEA, 8D, 5Why, and Fishbone
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
