Production Planning Support C

Responsibilities

• Perform planning and scheduling functions to coordinate products and materials through various production phases
• Implement production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements
• Review schedules to determine material and parts requirements to ensure availability
• Manage inventory locations and accurately move/transact material in a timely manner
• Enter data accurately into CostPoint (ERP system) and Excel for traceability and metrics
• Expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments according to shipping schedules
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands
• Package shipments of completed goods against external sales orders or customer demand
• Perform transactions for nonconforming material within quality and ERP systems

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience
• OR a 2-year post-secondary/Associate's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Costpoint or TipQA
• Experience with data management and processing
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control techniques
• Ability to multitask and change priorities as directed
