About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules and the Master Production Schedule.
  • Define and implement Planning and Scheduling KPIs and dashboards to drive departmental performance.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align production plans with customer demand and On Time Delivery goals.
  • Implement capacity planning by value stream, identifying bottlenecks and scheduling around planned downtime.
  • Establish and maintain key planning fields in the ERP system, including lead times, safety stock, and days’ supply.
  • Train, mentor, and direct the daily activities of a team of five planners to ensure professional development and high-quality work.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with the Global Operational Excellence team to streamline processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of production planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in team supervision and leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a metric-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and strong overall ERP and technology skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field (preferred, but 5+ years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree).

Preferred Qualifications

  • End-to-end Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in engineered-to-order or component manufacturing industries.
  • Proficiency with Syteline ERP and Power BI.
  • Knowledge or experience in Lean Manufacturing principles.
