Production Planning Specialist

Responsibilities

• Create 0-1 production schedules that align with demand and capacity
• Analyze production capacity and demand to inform strategic decisions and roadmap planning
• Collaborate with manufacturing and support teams to improve processes, batch sizes, and material transfer
• Respond to production shortfalls or material shortages with impact assessments and options
• Generate and publish production performance metrics and forecasts
• Communicate production plans and revisions to stakeholders
• Assist in implementing inventory control solutions to optimize flow

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering/Operations, Supply Chain management or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year of high volume production planning experience in manufacturing
• Experience building analytical models
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Excel modeling skills
• Experience working with ERP systems, specifically SAP
